We ask your sex at birth because it affects which medicines are safe and how they work. Gender is optional and only helps us address you correctly.
Some medicines cannot be supplied safely without letting your GP know. If yours is one of them, our doctor will talk it through with you first. Sharing your GP keeps your care joined up, but it is your choice.
